My name is Emma Moling and I am a double bassist from South Tyrol, north of Italy. Besides music, I have a great passion for the mountains and I love spending my free time in nature.

At the age of 9 I started my musical journey with the double bass at the music school of Appiano, South Tyrol, with Hans Peter Nocker.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in double bass at the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano under the inspiring guidance of Professor Rino Braia. In 2020, I continued my studies in the Netherlands, where I completed my Master's degree in Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the supervision of Professor Theotime Voisin. I further developed my artistic and pedagogical path at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, where I completed a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy under the guidance of Professor Alberto Bocini.

Music and nature have enriched me in many ways and now I would like to share these experiences with other people.

in 2021 I started to work on my project LASSÖ. This project particularly dear to me. I am working on it with great passion and I would like to continue it in the future. My cousin Luca died in 2015 under an avalanche on the Vallon basin. Since then, I have had the desire to dedicate a special event to him. That is why LASSÖ - A concert for you was born. I am looking forward to developing this project further and to spreading sonorous traces in the mountains together with other music lovers.
